Student Online Readiness Resources Available in TITANium or Online

The Department of Online Education and Training (OET) at Cal State Fullerton has assembled a set of interactive tutorials and tools accessible individually or as a combined set to prepare students for their first experience with online learning. Even though they may be savvy users of smartphones and other technologies, students may not be ready for college level learning in an online environment.

The Student Online Readiness Resources are found on the OET’s website. These resources are offered in a TITANium (Learning Management System used by CSUF) module, and may be imported into an existing course.

Instructions on how to add the Student Online Readiness Module can be found in the TITANium Resource Center.

The tutorials use engaging activities and are Open Educational Resources (OER) designed to help prepare students for successful online learning. Some of the multimedia tutorials focus on skill development for new online student, others identify strategies and resources to further assist experienced online learners.
