In her article "Active Learning: In Need of Deeper Exploration" Maryellen Weimer, PhD raises the need to explore more thoroughly the variety of activities that fall into this type of learning, the strategies used to promote it, and the techniques that measure its impact. Her objective is to give a more accurate specific understanding of what Active Learning really means.
